This year marks a decade since the Galway City Community Network and all other Public Participation Networks (PPN) were established across Ireland.
We are delighted to invite all our members to join us in celebrating this milestone at our GCCN Summer Plenary & Annual General Meeting (AGM).
On this special occasion, we are also excited to welcome our newly elected councillors, who will have the chance to connect with GCCN members.
The event will take place on Wednesday, 19th of June from 6.30pm to 9pm in the Menlo Park Hotel
During our AGM we will review the fantastic work accomplished in 2023 and celebrate the year’s highlights.
In this part of our meeting, we will hold elections for the GCCN Secretariat. There are currently several vacancies on the Secretariat and GCCN are seeking new Board members.
Members are also invited to submit any motions ahead of time for these to be considered at the AGM.
The Plenary will then offer a wonderful opportunity to connect with other groups and organizations, discuss important community matters, and get the latest updates on GCCN’s current initiatives.
During this part of the evening, we look forward to meeting the newly elected councillors who will be invited to join the GCCN Plenary.
